What I love most about sailing are the moments when it’s just me, the water, and the wind. That’s when the true perspective on life and the world reveals itself. It becomes clear what really matters and what is merely an illusion we chase in our everyday lives on land. These moments are essential for me—to gain distance, reassess my values and return with a clear mind and a focused purpose.
The ocean and sea can mercilessly expose our weaknesses, point out imperfections, and challenge our self-perception—but they can also give us satisfaction, strength, and faith in our own abilities. And they can shout into your ear with the wind: “You’ve got this!”
