BIO
Julia is an extraordinary figure, combining a passion for medicine and sailing. Trained as a physician specializing in anesthesiology and intensive care, she gained experience in operating theaters as well as on medical missions in Africa, where she provided assistance under the most demanding conditions.

As a captain, she commanded yachts through the harsh waters of the Arctic, leading expeditions to Greenland, Nordkapp, and Svalbard. She also served multiple times as co-skipper on a circumnavigation of the legendary Cape Horn, demonstrating her navigational skills and resilience in extreme environments.

Her dedication to exploring polar regions resulted in numerous observations of unique natural phenomena and encounters with wild fauna in their natural habitats. Julia documents these experiences, sharing them with others and inspiring the discovery of unknown corners of the world.
